Paul Rademacher 17/12/09 Author of The Spiritual Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe

Paul Rademacher is Executive Director of The Monroe Institute, in Faber Virginia, known for its pioneering work in the exploration of human consciousness. The Institute conducts intensive 6 day and weekend programs that help participants to experience profound states of inner exploration and expanded awareness.

Mr. Rademacher’s interest in consciousness exploration was sparked by a mystical experience that resulted from a construction accident in 1981. That profoundly life altering event convinced him to enroll at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree in 1985.

During his 15 years of service as a Presbyterian pastor, he studied extensively in the fields of consciousness and spirituality, seeking to bring together traditional meditation techniques with contemporary expressions of spiritual exploration.
He is also a former building contractor, designer, and journeyman carpenter. Paul is an experienced public speaker, seminar leader, artist, closet musician, husband and father of three. His book, A Spiritual Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe: Travel Tips for the Spiritually Perplexed, was released April, 2009 by Hampton Roads Publishing.
